Flipping though a fashion magazine the other day I noticed that the hottest color in ugg type boots this year is white and off white. They do look so cute with almost any casual outfit. Here is a pear of cheap uggs in white from the EMU Australia brand.

The internet is a great place to find cheap shoes, including cheap uggs. I wish I could tell you of a secret store online that is practically giving them away. I can’t, with all of my searching I have not found that store yet. I have found great prices on quality name grand uggs, and even better prices on off brands. I have even found some way off brands in bigbox stores, but we are talking about finding cheap uggs online. Here are a few Ideas of the best places to look.

Amazon is the number one place to look for anything you want. As I have already mentioned they have a large selection of uggs.

Auction sites, check them often, but buyer beware. Check the sellers history and examine the picture and description. You want to make sure your are getting what you want.

It is a good idea to have a price that you are willing to pay in mind before you shop so you don’t spend to much of your hard earned money. It is easy to get carried away in cyberspace.

When you are looking for cheap UGGs, be aware that there are knock-off brands that look similar to the real thing, but may not be as high quality as the better known name brands.  Uggs are only a style of sheepskin boot from Australia, not a brand.  The most well known brand of UGGs is UGG Australia, which are high quality, but usually the most expensive.

One example I have found was from China.  They didn’t seem to be as comfortable as the more famous brands, but did seem close enough for the price.  The lower quality sheep skin might wear out faster and not be as substantial.  As with most things, you get what you pay for.  If you don’t mind getting shoes that are not as trendy, you can still get good shoes.  Being a fashion slave can cost you more money than it is really worth.

UGGs are the hot boot to have now, and because of that they are pretty expensive.  You are looking at about $100 for the Women’s Classic Crochet.   Not a cheap UGG.  You can find similar boots that are also good quality from manufacturers like EMU Australia and Bearpaw.  If you only really want UGGs Australia, you might be able to find a better deal by shopping around, or even waiting.  Models and actors may need to have the absolute latest fashions, but they can afford them, or may even get them free for the publicity it gives to the makers.

We can probably get away with waiting for a while.  Just remember that these great boots are still going to be great boots in a few months, and they will still look cute on us.  And the money we could save by waiting could help us buy a great accessory from UGG Australia like a Cable Beanie (currently $95 at the UGG website).

I am all for looking great with the latest trends, just make sure you are willing to sacrifice now to be a fashionista.
